Vinod Mankara

Renowned media person, writer and film maker, Vinod Mankara is Senior Programme Producer in Asianet Television. He began his career as a freelance journalist for print media and have worked in Delhi and other major cities in India. His career in electronic media begins in Surya TV,where he served as Programme Manager. He has been Chief Manager,Programmes in MET,a television channel based in Dubai. He had a stint in Indiavision as Chief Producer.

Vinod Mankara has more than 600 documentaries to his credit,out of which most of them are telecast in various channels. He has a very rare distinction of being recipient of Kerala State Film Award for Documentary for three consecutive years. 7 documentaries by him has been adjudged to receive State award. Beyond or Within, a documentary on occultism has received National Award in 2003. He has a feature film also to his credit.
