Vinny Faherty (born June 13, 1987 in Galway, Republic of Ireland) is an Irish professional footballer who plays in the forward position for Galway United F.C. of the FAI Premier Division. Formerly played with Salthill Devon FC, spent time on trial with Ipswich Town F.C. before he signed for his hometown team Galway United FC in July 2007 despite interest from various other clubs. Has also been capped for the Republic of Ireland a number of times at various levels.
