Vinnie Caruana

Vinnie Caruana (born September 25, 1979) is an American singer. He was the vocalist for Long Island punk band The Movielife from their inception in 1997 until their break-up in 2003. He is now the lead singer and songwriter for the alternative rock band I Am the Avalanche, a Brooklyn-based indie rock band whose first album was produced by Barret Jones (Foo Fighters, The Melvins).

Vinnie appears on the Bayside song "The Walking Wounded" off the album of the same name.

I Am the Avalanche are a part of Cardboard City, a New York-based group of bands and artists led by Vin's best friend Daryl Palumbo (Glassjaw, Head Automatica, House of Blow) and DJ Krazyglue.

Vin has many tattoos, including "IATA" on his wrist and The Movielife's bumblebee logo on his arm.
