Vinita Terrace is a village in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 292 at the 2000 census.

Vinita Terrace is located at 38°41′6″N, 90°19′47″W (38.685001, -90.329788)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 292 people, 117 households, and 85 families residing in the village. The population density was 4,722.9 people per square mile (1,879.0/km²). There were 124 housing units at an average density of 2,005.6/sq mi (797.9/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 25.68% White, 73.63% African American, 0.34% Asian, and 0.34% from two or more races.

There were 117 households out of which 29.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.9% were married couples living together, 21.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.5% were non-families. 23.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.50 and the average family size was 2.93.

In the village the population was spread out with 22.9% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 26.0% from 25 to 44, 30.5% from 45 to 64, and 13.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 90.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 82.9 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $46,250, and the median income for a family was $56,250. Males had a median income of $47,500 versus $28,125 for females. The per capita income for the village was $23,752. About 5.0% of families and 7.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 12.7% of those under the age of eighteen and 15.9% of those sixty five or over.
