Vineyard (pronounced "Vinyard") is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. [1] Vineyard is located 50 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Blacktown. Vineyard is part of the Greater Western Sydney region.

Vineyard takes its name from the vineyards in this area, since this suburb was originally part of Windsor’s winegrowing district.

Vineyard is situated between the Richmond Road running from Blacktown to Richmond, and the Windsor Road running from Windsor to North Parramatta. Windsor Road is currently (Dec 06) undergoing a major upgrade to four lanes.
Vineyard railway station is on Richmond branch of the Western railway line of the Cityrail network, between Blacktown and Richmond. It provides regular commuter electric train services in both directions.
