Vincent is a town in Shelby, St. Clair, and Talladega Counties in the U.S. state of Alabama. At the 2000 census the population was 1,853.

Vincent is located at 33°23′9″N, 86°24′36″W (33.385719, -86.409919)[1].
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 19.1 square miles (49.4 km²), of which, 18.9 square miles (48.9 km²) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.5 km²) of it (1.00%) is water.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 1,853 people, 740 households, and 546 families residing in the town. The population density was 98.2 people per square mile (37.9/km²). There were 806 housing units at an average density of 42.7/sq mi (16.5/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 80.73% White, 17.43% Black or African American, 0.76% Native American, 0.22% Asian, 0.05% from other races, and 0.81% from two or more races. 0.70% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 740 households out of which 33.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.6% were married couples living together, 12.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.1% were non-families. 24.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.50 and the average family size was 2.97.
In the town the population was spread out with 25.3% under the age of 18, 7.9% from 18 to 24, 30.0% from 25 to 44, 23.5% from 45 to 64, and 13.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 88.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.7 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $35,045, and the median income for a family was $41,250. Males had a median income of $30,709 versus $23,750 for females. The per capita income for the town was $16,412. About 11.0% of families and 14.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 17.5% of those under age 18 and 10.4% of those age 65 or over.
