Vince Carducci

Vince Carducci is a contributing editor and director of marketing of thedetroiter.com . He has written on the arts and culture in numerous publications since the 1990s, including for Art and Australia, BrandChannel.com, the Journal of Consumer Culture, and Private Air. Past assignments include the following: Detroit correspondent for Artforum International, contributing editor and Michigan editor for New Art Examiner, and editor of Detroit Focus Quarterly. He is currently a contributing writer for Metro Times, Detroit's leading weekly newspaper, and a staff writer for PopMatters.com, a webzine of global culture. He also serves on the faculty of the Liberal Arts department at the College for Creative Studies. Vince additionally has more than 20 years experience as a marketing executive and branding consultant, including senior vice president and director of marketing and corporate communications for Standard Federal Bank, now LaSalle Bank Midwest. Vince has a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a master's from the New School for Social Research in New York City.
