Vincent Joseph Banonis (born April 9, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan) was an American football center and defensive tackle in the National Football League. He played for the Chicago Cardinals from 1942-1950 and the Detroit Lions from 1951-1953. He attended the University of Detroit Mercy. Banonis was elected into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1986.
