Vincas Grybas

Vincas Grybas (October 3, 1890 – July 3, 1941) was a Lithuanian sculptor. Vincas Grybas was born in Lukiškės village where he also finished elementary school. Later he continued his studies at Warsaw art school. After World War I Grybas extended his studies in Kaunas and Paris. After Lithuania was occupied by the Nazi Germany, Grybas was executed in 1941.
Among Vincas Grybas most famous creations are the monument to Vytautas the Great in Kaunas, church altar in Sintautai, and monument to Petras Vileišis in Pasvalys.
