[edit] Incorrect information

What's the deal with the new info box? More importantly, where did the box's creator find the information regarding Vincent's birth date? I'm a huge fan of this film and have seen it numerous times, but have never seen anything that mentions Vincent's birthdate. The most background info available on the character (that I know of, at least) is on the featurettes on the DVD, and even those don't say much, especially concerning his birth year. -ARSmith

I'm going ahead and deleting the birth and death dates for Vincent, along with the bit that says he has a hitman uncle named John Richardson. I don't know who's adding this stuff in, or, more importantly, where they are getting it from. I own this film on DVD, have seen it and the bonus features multiple times, and nowhere does it give out any of this information. The only people in the world who would possibly know that would be the filmmakers, and I doubt Michael Mann has released his personal notes to anyone. - ARSmith, 21 April 2007.

[edit] Spoilers

Instead of using a "spoilers begin here/spoilers end here" to show where the spoilers are, I just decided to start the whole page with a spoiler warning, as there is no end to them. There is no way to read any of this article without having first seen the movie, because it walks through both the plot and Vincent's character and development. In the future, please add spoiler warnings when you give away the whole plot. --217.73.106.170 00:02, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Vincent.jpg

Image:Vincent.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
