Viman Nagar is a locality in Pune, India. It is situated approximately about 6 kilometers from the Pune railway station and about 5 kilometers from the Pune airport.

Viman Nagar is home to a lot of housing societies - Suyog Enclave, Eden Park, Neco Gardens, Lunkad etc. Viman Nagar has a beautiful garden where people come regularly in the morning to exericise. There is a "laughter club" which assembles here every morning. There is a lot of construction activity now going on Viman Nagar. Viman nagar is a home to a lot of IT companies - Giga space is a large IT park located in Viman nagar.

Hyatt Regency Hotel and Shangri La Hotel is coming up in the Viman Nagar. Viman Nagar has become one of the hottest place for realty development. In recent time Viman Nagar has developed hugely with wide variety of shooping malls. One of the biggest Malls in Pune Phoenix city is coming up in Viman Nagar. Some of the best hospitals in Pune like Ruby Clinic and Jahangir are located near to Viman Nagar.

Few years ago one would have wondered if this was a place a punekar would like to go to. Now its one of the most sought out localities for the cosmopolitan crowd.
