Vilnius Metro (Lithuanian: Vilniaus metropolitenas) – is a planned rapid transit system in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius. Three lines are currently proposed to connect the busiest and most populous city districts. It is expected that it will significantly decrease traffic congestion at rush hours. It is currently still in the planning stages, and thus the opening date is unknown.
