Vilmos Tkálecz

Vilmos Tkálecz Slovene: Vilmoš Tkalec was Hungarian Slovenian schoolmaster, cantor, politican, governing of the Prekmurian Republic in 1919.
Tkálecz born January 8, 1894, in village Turnišče, in the Prekmurje, in Kingdom of Hungary. Afor the World War I was teach school in Črenšovci, near Lendava. In 1917 was enlisted and sent to Russia, lastly go back home.
Tkálecz was not character without spot or stain, but rather raffish and libertine.
Under the Hungarian Soviet Republic Tkálecz was assistent near Béla Obál socialistic clerk in Murska Sobota, later already his succcessor. However was get entangled in a illegal trade business, what the communistic-statues forbade.
In May 29, 1919 Tkálecz declared the Republic of Prekmurje. In June 6 Hungarian Red Army was march in Murska Sobota and demolish the state. Tkálecz break away in Austria, some time in 1920 was can job in Hungary. In Nagykarácsony lived is like teacher. However for long was suspect, even so was become in high positions.
