Ville-d'Avray is a commune in the western suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 11.9 km. (7.4 miles) from the center of Paris. The commune is served by the Boulogne-Billancourt prefecture, of the Hauts-de-Seine department.

Ville-d'Avray is served by no station of the Paris Métro, RER, or suburban rail network. The closest station to Ville-d'Avray is Sèvres – Ville d'Avray station on the Transilien Paris – Saint-Lazare suburban rail line. This station is located in the neighboring commune of Sèvres, 0.8 km.(0.5 miles) from the town center of Ville-d'Avray.

Landscape painter Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot maintained a residence in the village and used the area as a subject for several paintings including Ville d'Avray (painting) in 1867. Actress Isabelle Huppert spent her childhood in Ville-d'Avray.[1] French author Boris Vian was born in the town in 1920.
