Villanova Monferrato is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 60 km east of Turin and about 30 km northwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,769 and an area of 16.6 km².[1]
Villanova Monferrato borders the following municipalities: Balzola, Caresana, Casale Monferrato, Motta de' Conti, Rive, and Stroppiana.
