There are also three separate proposals for a destination resort casino in or adjacent to the development. The Unified Board of Commissioners of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kan. on December 13 endorsed three proposals to send to state for final consideration: the Cordish Co. and Kansas Speedway's $670 million Hard Rock-branded proposal; Pinnacle Entertainment's $650 million proposal; and the Legends Sun group's $770 million proposal. A fourth proposal, Golden Gaming's $600 million proposal, was endorsed by nearby Edwardsville and sent to state for approval. Only one of these proposals will be approved by the Kansas Lottery Commission.[3]
