[edit] Mission Statement

It is the mission of Village Christian Schools to provide a distinctly Christian Education by:

  1. Encouraging students and parents to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
  2. Teaching discipleship through example and practical application.
  3. Encouraging students to develop to the fullest the Spiritual, intellectual, aesthetic, physical and social gifts given to them.
  4. Offering students every opportunity to excel in academic studies, athletic competition, and social growth.
  5. Keeping before them their need for spiritual maturity in proportion with their age and experience in faith, so that every student can become a productive member of society.

[edit] Academics

VCS offers 7 AP classes, and four honors classes. The only unusual requirement for graduation is 4 years of Bible Study (if attending for four years).[2][3]

[edit] Christian Emphasis

VCS expects that graduating students will have had "a Christ-centered education," and seeks to integrate faith and learning in its educational program.[4].
