Villa Walsh Academy is a private, grades 7-12, Catholic college preparatory school for girls located in Morristown, New Jersey, United States, conducted by the Religious Teachers Filippini. The school operates under the supervision of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson. Its brother school is nearby Delbarton, whom they share a transportation system with.

Villa Walsh Academy is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the New Jersey Department of Education. The school is a member of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools.[1]

Admissions at Villa Walsh Academy is one of the most selective in the state of New Jersey, with 50 students enrolled from 250 applicants. The school has 235 students and 32 faculty members, with a Student-teacher ratio of 8:1.[1]

Villa Walsh Academy coursework covers theology, mathematics, the sciences, including computer science, humanities, social sciences and the fine arts presents a rigorous challenge and solid preparation for a college-bound population. Also offered are Advanced Placement preparation, honors sections, independent study, and academic accommodation for gifted and musically talented students.

The school offers Advanced Placement Program (AP) courses in AP English Language and Composition, AP Calculus, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP French Language, AP Italian Language and Culture, AP Spanish Language, AP United States History, AP European History and AP Computer Science.

In 2007, 55 graduates received a total of $2,744,236 in scholarships and grant money. Between 2002 and 2006, 20 students were National Merit Scholar Finalists and 45 were National Merit Scholar Commended Students.[1]

In 2006, two students had a perfect 800 in the SAT on critical reading; one had a perfect 800 in math, two had a perfect 800 in writing.[1]

Villa Walsh Academy participates in the Suburban Division of the Northern Hills Conference.

Every year, Villa Walsh's athletic teams are recognized state-wise. Most notable are the Cross Country and Tennis teams. The Tennis team has won multiple tournaments, and has proved to be a force in the New Jersey tennis scene. The Cross Country team won Conferences in 2006. Additionally, the soccer team has proved itself as a strong parochial soccer team. It has reached the state tournament for two consecutive years. The track team has won the conference, as has the basketball team. Despite playing in arguably one of the most difficult softball conferences in the state, the softball team has held its own playing competitive games with powerhouses such as James Caldwell High School and Pequannock Township High School.
