Villa Altagracia

Villa Altagracia is a municipality (municipio) of the San Cristóbal province in the Dominican Republic. Within the municipality there are three municipal districts (distritos municipal): La Cuchilla, Medina and San José del Puerto.[1]

As of the 2002 census the municipality had 78,507 inhabitants, 36,791 living in the city itself and 41,716 in its rural districts (Secciones). [2] For comparison with other municipalities and municipal districts see the list of municipalities and municipal districts of the Dominican Republic.
