Viljo Heino

Viljo Heino (March 1, 1914 - September 15, 1998) was a Finnish athlete who held the world record for the 10,000 metres event from August 25, 1944 to June 11, 1949 and again from September 1, 1949 to October 22, 1949.[1] He was the male Finnish Sportspersonality of the year for 1949.

He represented Finland in the 10,000 metres in the 1948 summer Olympics in London.[2]
