Vila Velha de Ródão (pronounced [ˈvilɐ ˈvɛʎɐ dɨ ˈʁɔdɐ̃ũ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 329.9 km² and a total population of 3,802 inhabitants.

The municipality is composed of 4 parishes and is located in the district of Castelo Branco.

The present mayor is Maria Carmo Sequeira, elected by the Socialist Party.

The municipal holiday is the Monday after the 4th Sunday of August.

On 5 November 2007, a road accident on A23 killed 15 people and injured 22.[1]
