Talk:Villagetech solutions

Articles for deletion This article was nominated for deletion on 19 October 2007. The result of the discussion was no consensus.

As the creator I strongly object to attempted deletion. For the encyclopedia: VillageTech is an ongoing NGO. Is part of the Lighting Africa project. Their pedal-generator is in 19 beta sites. Start-up funding came from the World Bank.

Q: Would you like more detail of the accomplishments, beta sites, the engineering, the goals of the organization?

Q: Would you like more discussion as to the benefits such as lighting medical clinics, providing study time after dark, charging computers and cell phones is remote Himalayan villages or enabling small businesses in the manner of micro-finance?

Three Outstanding Sources Of Validation: The World Bank, School of Engineering Stanford University and the Tech Museum of San Jose, California – which have awarded funds or support to this project:

Conflict: Yes, facts were corrected by one of the principals.

Next: I’ve got some outstanding photos, but have not as yet figured the upload process. I understand the copyright issues, but then the images get lost in some “computer guys only” system. I’ll need to find my own computer guy to help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brucemacbruce (talkcontribs) 22:19, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
