[edit] Because they're married, duh
Yikes--"lovers"? You've got to be kidding. Fualaau is a rape victim and Letourneau was convicted for said rape. How many other rape victims would be described as the former lovers of their rapists? --J.B. Nicholson-Owens (jbn@forestfield.org)

-He's not really a rape victim he kinda forced her too. He said yes he did not say no.- 10/11/07 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.81.144.76 (talk) 00:22, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Why was he arrested?

Sorry. I have a hard time thinking of this kid as a victim.--70.227.187.48 01:35, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Simple consent"?
The link "simple consent" no longer goes anywhere useful. Does anyone have suggestions for where this could go? -- Hawke666 03:49, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
I saw him one time a couple of years ago at Fox's in Parkland, WA
[edit] Orientation Dis-crimination
If Mary Kay had been a gay man - she would have been sentence to life in prison. How fair is that considering she is walking free - doesn't seem like a crime to me.
[edit] Waste of cyberspace
wiwkipedia the tabloid newspaper. Do we need to read about these two mops on wikipedia?
- They are notable people. They made the papers, people know their names. *shrug*Naysie 07:41, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
- Mary Kay Letournau was on Oprah. I can't remember exactly when, but around the time of conviction. It's a notable event. It's not Joe Smith who was arrested at Westfield Southcenter for shoplifting. -- 12.116.162.162 20:18, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
- She was also mentioned on the Gilmore Girls episode "Emily in Wonderland". -- 12.116.162.162 18:04, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] A year in jail for drunk driving?
Is Wikipedia correct about this? Why was the punishment so harsh? It says that he had a ticket for speeding the year before that, but an entire year in jail for drunk driving seems extreme. - Cyborg Ninja 02:15, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
