Viktor Nogin

Viktor Nogin (1878-1924) was a prominent Bolshevik activist in Moscow.

He was the self-educated son of a shop keeper.

He became Mayor of Moscow on 19 September 1917.

The town of Bogodorosk was renamed Noginsk in his honour in 1930.
