Viktor Mokhov

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Viktor Mokhov kept two Russian girls, Lena and Katya, in an underground cell for 3 1/2 years in Skopin, Russia.

Mokhov abducted the two girls in September 2000, when Lena was 14 and Katya 17 years old, from a disco. He locked them into an underground room that he had built previously underneath the garage of his home, where he regularly abused them sexually. The older girl gave birth to two boys in captivity in 2001 and 2003, and was pregnant when she was freed. Mokhov transferred the two boys to an orphanage.

During the last months of their imprisonment, Mokhov took the girls occasionally for walks outside their cellar during the night.

The girls managed to hide a note inside an audio casette their captor had lent them. This note was later found by a boarder in the house, and the girls where finally freed by police in 2004.
