Vikhammer

Vikhammer is a village in Norway. It is a part of the commune Malvik, which is in Sør-Trøndelag. Vikhammer get lots of tourist visits every year, mostly at the summer. Most of them are German and Swedish camping-tourists who camp in Malvik Camping. They come to see the fjords Norway is world famous for. Many of them also come to fish there, because its good chances of getting salmon there. The village is called "Vikhammer" because it used to live Vikings there before. There is also a park in Vikhammer called "Vikhov park" which got its name because the Vikings had their houses in that area.
