The fact you inserted in his article does not belong there. That fact belongs on Tony Dungy's article. Ditto with Mike Ditka. Ronbo76 03:12, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Sankalp logo.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Sankalp logo.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:09, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sankalp

It's now here. Please clean out the copyright violations quickly. The article will be deleted again shortly if you don't.

Note that, as the article stands, it also qualified for deletion under WP:CSD#A7 as there is no assertion of notability. Articles need multiple, non-trival, third party reliable sources for inclusion in Wikipedia.

Please do not place the article back in the main articlespace until both problems are solved. Thanks.   REDVERS  SЯEVDEЯ  09:38, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

You have said the logo is only for "non-commercial or Wikipedia-use only". See below this message for more information.
Also, the article as it stands remains lacking in any assertion of notability. The article does not meet the guidelines set out here. Also, there are no multiple, reliable, third-party non-trivial sources. Both of these errors will need to be corrected for the article to be transferred to the main namespace.   REDVERS  SЯEVDEЯ  18:36, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your message. Looking at the article, there are two major flaws still. The article remains lacking in any assertion of notability. The article does not meet the guidelines set out here. You will need to read this page carefully. The article must clearly state why the organisation is important (notable) enough to be in an encyclopedia. That it exists is not enough - it must be important as well.
Also, there are no multiple, reliable, third-party non-trivial sources. You will need to read this page carefully too. Reliable third-party sources do not include press releases, the organisation's own website or things sponsored by the organisation.  REDVERS  SЯEVDEЯ  10:14, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
I've not asked for a reference from a London newspaper. I'm not in London, so if that's a dig, it's wide of the mark. All I've asked is for you to provide multiple, reliable, third-party non-trivial sources for your article. You have continually argued that you don't need to, or that you are too busy, or that I'm asking too much. I'm not. This is how Wikipedia works: provide multiple, reliable, third-party non-trivial sources and the article stays. Don't and it goes. Until you can provide some multiple, reliable, third-party non-trivial sources, the article can't come in.  REDVERS  SЯEVDEЯ  09:53, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your image

Wikipedia cannot accept material that is declared to be "non-commercial use only" or "only for use on Wikipedia". Whilst it may seem reasonable to restrict material that way, Wikipedia content is syndicated around the world on the internet and in print, frequently for commercial purposes. Non-commercial or Wikipedia-only content is therefore useless to us. For that reason, such content is marked for speedy deletion automatically and deleted shortly after. [edit] Speedy deletion of Garmin nuvifone

A tag has been placed on Garmin nuvifone, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
