Viggiù is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 km northwest of Milan and about 8 km northeast of Varese, on the border with Switzerland. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,148 and an area of 9.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Viggiù contains the frazione (subdivision) Baraggia.
Viggiù borders the following municipalities: Arcisate, Besano, Bisuschio, Cantello, Clivio, Meride (Switzerland), Saltrio.
