Vigário Geral massacre

The Vigário Geral massacre happened in August 29, 1993 at the Vigário Geral favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is still in trial as of 2007. Supposedly, a death squad composed by policeman retaliated the killings of 4 officers by drug traffickers at the favela. The attack resulted in 21 innocent people dead, including a 15-year old girl.
