View Island
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
View Island is a very small island near Caversham Lock, on the River Thames in England. It was a derelict boatyard when the council took it over in 1998 and restored it. It is a quiet, relaxing island with grassy paths and seating. It now contains several wooden chain-saw carved sculptures.
