[edit] Target Audience

The target user is the small to mid-size businesses needing long-term archiving and searching capability of documents. ViewWise is a competitor to more common and mainstream document storage programs such as Adobe PDF files or the Microsoft Office suite of programs, and offers a storage structure and searchable database on the 400+ different file types it stores.

[edit] Screen Shot & Compatibility

The ViewWise Product Line includes integration compatibility with Microsoft Office, Groupwise Client, and support for a wide range of high-speed scanners and multifunction printer peripheral (MFP) devices.[1]

For E-mail compliance concerns, ViewWise has E-mail archiving modules with retention services.[1] These modules support archiving from Exchange and GroupWise email systems.[1]

The ViewWise Electronic Content Management / Document Management Solution provides support for the storage, viewing, printing, and searching over 400 file formats, and also provides Document Imaging features that include scanning, annotations, redactions, electronic signatures, image conversion, and PDF generation.[1]

ViewWise is a Content/Document Management system compatible with Microsoft Windows-based systems and was designed to work the same way as the popular operating system. Due to this fact, there is a high adoption rate of ViewWise, as it is largely recognizable by the end-user. Features such as drag-n-drop, right-click, and file structure recognition make ViewWise tiered toward the end-user.[1]
