Viet-Muong is clearly a branch of Vietic. It's thought that the two languages split during the Chinese Emperial era. I'm replacing the Ethnologue classification with one that recognizes this, and moving the article from Viet-Muong to Vietic. Ethnologue remains as an external link. kwami 10:19, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
