This article is part of the WikiProject Vienna, a project organizing all things related to Vienna. We need your help! Many new articles need to be translated. If you know German, please visit us to see how you can help. Thanks!

I just asked User:Przepla what made him remove the "inuse" sign which I had put up and replace it with a "stub" notice. You're now all invited to contribute, but if you're planning to do so, please tell me as soon as possible because then I would immediately stop working on this subject.

This was the first time I have used the "inuse" template. It wasn't a great success. <KF> 15:36, Jan 28, 2005 (UTC)

I'm affraid you are mistaken about in which cases the "inuse" template is used. Basically it is used in cases when someone is making a major rewrite and in order to not to lose his or her work he or she saves the article every 10-30 minutes. The earlier versions of inuse template gave the time limit of maximum 3 hours. The "inuse" template is by no means used to reserve article from others editors, as I understand your explanation. If you would like to prepare full fledged article without others interupting, and want to do it in long time period I suggest use yours personal Wikispace and prepare it at for instance User:KF/Vienna Opera Ball. Nevertheless, I am not some kind of a Wikipedia internal mechanics god, and if you don't like my explanation, perhaps it would be wise to seek others opinion on Community pages. [edit] Haagsch Debutantenbal

The Haagsch Debutantenbal, which takes place in the Kurhaus, could hardly be referred to as "Vienna Opera Ball", could it? Any comments before I remove it? <KF> 23:02, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

So far, the only "comment" has been someone adding "Dubai" without any source ("A similar ball takes place in New York City [1], Dubai and The Hague [2]"). <KF> 08:48, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
