[edit] What is it about?
I always wish there were more interpretations on wikipedia song pages. I guess that since original research is forbidden it would require that a published critic had published an interpretation. And perhaps no critic has ventured an interpretation. If only on the talk page, I would be interested to hear of views on what it is that "means nothing" to the singer. Does Vienna the town mean nothing to the singer? Or does singers feelings to "you" (as in the pre-chorus "only you and I") mean nothing to the singer?--Timtak 17:34, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Perhaps you should take the singer literally when he says 'this means nothing'81.154.247.129 21:55, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] the greatest single never to reach number one
give me a break. Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane? I Can See For Miles? etc etc The link provided as reference didn't say that anyone thought that, let alone 'many'.81.154.247.129 21:54, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Could this article be renamed Vienna (Ultravox song) to distinguish it from the Billy Joel song and probably others.81.154.247.129 21:57, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
