Wikipedia:Video games improvement drive
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This week's computer and video games improvement drive is a weekly collaboration to improve non-stub computer and video game articles to featured article status, much like this week's improvement drive. The parent of this page is the WikiProject Video games.
Before adding an article, check whether the improvement drive is the best place for it. For stubs, the Gaming collaboration of the week is more suitable; for very highly developed articles, the video games peer review may be more appropriate.

[edit] Nomination and Voting
Computer and video game articles to be improved can be nominated by any registered user in the "nominations" section below, with an explanation of what work is needed. Please do not nominate articles involved in edit wars. To nominate an article, follow the instructions at the bottom of the page.
Each Sunday, the article with the most support votes is chosen to be the focus of the computer and video games improvement drive for that week. Opposing votes are not counted; see approval voting. You may vote for as many articles as you like. Articles need four votes per week to remain on the list.
When voting, please update the "stays until" date if needed.
[edit] Considerations for nominations
- Give reasons as to why an article should become the CVGI.
- Articles that the wider gaming community can easily contribute to are encouraged.
- Before nominating, make sure the article would not fare better in a Gaming Collaboration of the week or a CVG Peer Review.

Comments:
- This article concerns one of the most notable games ever. It has over 400 inbound links and a PageRank of 6. Although it is thorough, it needs major cleanup. It is currently rated B-class on this assessment scale and has 11 substantial issues that need to be fixed before it becomes a good article. Seahen 13:14, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
- Pretty nice article, but also could use some work still. The popular culture section could be trimmed down some, and some external links converted to references? --SevereTireDamage 05:56, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
