Video Treasures was a home video distributor, active from 1987 to 1996, specialising in B-movies and classic films. In 1996, they became Anchor Bay Entertainment Their VHS releases were well known for being sold as budget items in all three tape speeds (SP,LP and EP/SLP modes). They released Heron Communications (including Media Home Entertainment and Hi-Tops Video), Britt Allcroft (the Thomas the Tank Engine series), as well as Starmaker, another company later known as Anchor Bay.
