Vladimir Šubic

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Vladimir Šubic, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: User:Vidioman/Sandbox2. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 18:47, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Community stubs

What, exactly, do you see as the value in having fifteen or twenty unreferenced stubs, all at about the quality level of "Hoochieville is a hole in the wall with a gas station and an arena. Meddling kids paint graffiti on the walls. The place sucks mud.", about individual communities rather than one or two longer articles listing all of a city's neighbourhoods? Bearcat (talk) 22:38, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

A lot of the time there's nothing encyclopedic that can be written about a smaller community as an independent topic from its parent municipality. Also, the problem with Murillo is that not a single word in the entire article was referenced to anything. WP:RS and WP:V are requirements, not suggestions. Re:Date changing

Hello, I am correct of changing time format from 26 July to July 26 and the arrangement of a date does actually matter on depends of national origin of the article. Example, A one Australian-related article, since Australia date format is on dd/mm/yy format, then dd/mm/yy format must be used. Another is a one Canadian-related article, since Canada date format is on mm/dd/yy format, then mm/dd/yy format must be used. Thank You.--Joseph Solis in Australia (talk) 06:54, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

CDI Closures

well i know of 1 and possibly another

Belleville, ON had a branch formerly titled Toronto School of Business, then CDI College the branch was closed in 2006 before being renamed again to everest. I'm a former student of TSB. I think there was also on en Peterborough that clsoed as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LSX (talkcontribs) 19:54, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

No problem. I was pleasantly surprised to see that he has an article in the English wp. Viator slovenicus (talk) 00:36, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

A reminder to myself.

I had quite the adventure updating David Hamilton (county administrator) today, didn't I? Next time I should pay more attention to what I am doing! :) vıdıoman (talkcontribs) 00:12, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Centennial Park, Thunder Bay

An editor has nominated Centennial Park, Thunder Bay, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Centennial Park, Thunder Bay and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 22:00, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I know. I put it up for deletion. :) vıdıoman 22:34, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Neighbourhoods

There's no hard and fast rule about how to title neighbourhood articles; you'll see a wide variety of different conventions in use.

My own personal rule of thumb is to determine how the neighbourhood would normally be named when it's being referred to as a distinct entity in everyday speech or writing. In Ottawa, for example, Vanier used to be a distinct municipality, so the phrase Vanier, Ontario is actually used to refer to it, but Sandy Hill, even though it's immediately adjacent to Vanier, is never referred to as "Sandy Hill, Ontario" — you would generally have to say "the Sandy Hill neighbourhood in Ottawa". So I'd go for "Current River, Ontario" if you might actually refer to it that way in the real world, but "Current River, Thunder Bay, Ontario" otherwise.

Under normal circumstances I'd suggest "Current River (Thunder Bay)", but it would be a bit too confusing in this particular case since the title Current River (Ontario) is already being used for the article on the river itself. Bearcat (talk) 18:17, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

First Nations lacking articles

moved from User talk:CJLippert to here

There are some FNs linked in the article Area code 807 that either need articles or redirected. Could you make these? Thanks.

FWFN

Sure, will do... only if you beef-up the Fort William First Nation from a Stub to at least a Start. CJLippert (talk) 03:56, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
I was hoping you would do it. :(
I'll move it to top priority on my to-do list. :) I even bolded it for you. :) vıdıoman 04:20, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Ha, I just remembered why I put it off -- I was going to months ago but their website was all "under construction, check back later". The draft is here vıdıoman 04:29, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
I threw in the "boilerplate" language I have been using on the 7 FN articles onto the FWFN article. Increase the page by 4x but it still comes off as being flat. Map would be nice. Maybe even the picture of Mount McKay would be nice, too. History would be very good. Since I threw in the link to the AGG onto the page and there already is a red-link there, starting a page for AGG might be good, too. CJLippert (talk) 07:04, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Proofreading

Those highway articles look good to me. You have a great start going, and all we need to do is expand upon them and elaborate :) RingtailedFoxTalkContribs 00:54, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Downtown Fort William, Ontario

The article Downtown Fort William, Ontario should not survive as a separate article. It should be merged with Fort William, Ontario, of which it should in fact be the core. --Blanchardb-MeMyEarsMyMouth-timed 14:18, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

I have replied to this here. vıdıoman 18:38, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Thunder Bay Transit

I have formatted the bus terminals and other facilities under individual headings. This allows for expansion of specific information and direct linking from within another article; as in this redirect to Scarborough Centre Bus Terminal. I need help with this, because some of the information entered may be incomplete or just plain wrong (platforms?). What facilities are available at the bus terminals? Are there public washrooms and a heated waiting area? I intend to compile and expand some of the articles shown on the Template:Public Transit Systems in Ontario, but I will leave this one entirely to you. Local knowledge is invaluable in acquiring documents, references and photography not available on the internet.
I have found the route table on your user page that you have been working on - excellent! I think I could go anywhere in Thunder Bay using that. You should replace the current lists ASAP. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 19:58, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Greetings

I have a small question. How did you create this superb "telescopic" table with "Articles I have created" and "Articles to which I have made significant contributions"? It is just perfect! I am already pretty advenced in such a things, but could you please explain it to me? Thanks for answer--Lykantrop (Talk) 12:18, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks a lot! You explained it perfectly! I will use that for my page with some different outfit. And thanks for the kindness. I meet totally aggresive editors last days. That is so annoying...Lykantrop (Talk) —Preceding comment was added at 13:29, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
