Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Jim62sch
This arbitration case has been closed and the final decision is available at the link above. Jim62sch is instructed to refrain from making any comments to another user that could reasonably be construed as harassing, threatening, or bullying. Should Jim62sch make any comment that is or could reasonably be construed as of a harassing, threatening, or bullying nature, he may be blocked for an appropriate period of time by any uninvolved administrator. Any such action should be logged at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Jim62sch#Log of blocks and bans and should also be reported to the Arbitration Committee.
All involved editors are reminded of the prohibition against harassment and threats. Editors are also reminded that sensitivity should be shown in making any reference to another user's real-world circumstances in connection with their editing Wikipedia, even where this is done in good faith, due to the likelihood that such comments may be misconstrued. The Committee also asks that any incident of a user's engaging in grave acts of real-world harassment of another editor, such as communicating with an editor's employer in retaliation for his or her editing on Wikipedia, be reported to them immediately.
On behalf of the Arbitration Committee, Daniel 13:58, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Wishing good vibes, mate. I read the Jim62sch stuff, and I found it utterly contemptible. You can still reach me by e-mail. Mike H. Celebrating three years of being hotter than Paris 07:27, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
You are missed
I just became aware of what happened to you at the beginning of this year, and I think it's terrible. You were one of my favorite editors and taught me great deal about acquiring photos from strangers for free use (thanks for not requesting deletion U:RFC, by the way--would it be a good idea to move that page to project space for a wider audience?). I hope you're still contributing to the project in one form another. Please email me if you ever want to talk about what happened; I'm thoroughly disgusted.--The Fat Man Who Never Came Back (talk) 18:12, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Here they come zooming to meet our thunder
You have no email specified, and I don't know if you'll be back to see this again. But FWIW, I appreciated your contributions and feel it's a shame you left. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 01:11, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Take care
You did good work here and you are missed, V.O. (Coming from someone who locked horns with you more than once, that should mean something!) I have a feeling that if the Wikipedia community took half as intolerant a position towards mis-behavior as it does to contributions, you'd probably still be here. ANI thread
For the record, your departing essay resulted in an edit war and this ANI thread. Personally, I hope you come back in some way at some point, as Newyorkbrad said, but leaving an essay like that wasn't really going to help. Carcharoth (talk) 19:45, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- I know you won't come back, because of the threat to your real-life career, but I wish you would. You are missed. --Haemo (talk) 09:15, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Please direct grievances to the arbitration committee
Regarding your departure essay, I am leaving this note pointing out that reopening the conflict in this way is inappropriate, though several people have recognised that you have strong feelings about this. Currently, as discussed at the ANI thread, your departure essay is still linked from your user page, though the text is not directly visible. I hope you will accept this compromise. Please direct any future grievances to the arbitration committee. Carcharoth (talk) 21:27, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Help with image tagging
Hey there. You attempted to help me before awhile back, but I could never figure out how to tag images with an OTRS number on wikipedia itself. (without having to move images to Wikimedia) You had said that using {{GFDL}} and {{PermissionOTRS-ID|2007111910004338}} tags (the latter for my ticket number) should work, but the second one never works correctly. I had one of the images listed for deletion, so I was needing to tag it correctly, but my mind is turning to mush reading through all the OTRS guidelines and such. If you could just show me one example of how to do it or something on here (without having to move the image to Wikimedia, preferably, because I have no idea how to do that either, haha) it would be greatly appreciated. Sorry to pester you with this, as I am sure you are busy doing other things. Thank you if you are able to help me in any way. Regards. Cardsplayer4life (talk) 06:02, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, nevermind, I figured it out. (actually someone else figured it out and showed me) Disregard the above message. Cheers. Cardsplayer4life (talk) 06:08, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
