I am a new contributor. As an old soul and retired English teacher, I struggle with Wikipedia's labyrinthian systems, but I find its constitutional mysteries and crusading phantom armies absolutely exhilerating. In this age of market-driven spin and hype, I consider Wikipedia a truth machine and a fierce symbol of global community and anonymous social good. I am proud to be a tiny part of this magic.
