Victor Valley High School

Victor Valley High School is a high school located in Victorville, California. The school principal is Chris Douglass.

Mascot: Jackrabbits

School Colors: Green and White

Victor High is the first of two traditional high schools in Victorville with the second being Silverado High School. While in the same town, both schools are very different in appearance. Victor High has a very small-scale appeal with large trees shading the entire campus. Silverado High has much more modern architecture.

Victor Valley High and Barstow High School compete annually in the "Axe" football game which is the second longest high school rivalry game in the nation. There are many sports that are available to students. Sports that are available are Cross Country, Track & Field, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Baseball, Swimming, Fencing, Wrestling, and Ultimate Frisbee. Activities such as "Rent-A-Senior" and "Rent-A-Freshman" are available one day in the school allowing students to rent a Senior or a Freshman for the day. However, these two activities are held on separate dates.

- Key Club:Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership.

- Art Club:Art Club promotes the art standards at the school, opens avenues for students to express themselves.

- AVID:AVID's function is to increase attendance of graduates at 4 year colleges.

- Drama Club:Drama Club gives the students of VVHS the opportunity to participate in theatrical productions and events at VVHS.

- Fencing Club:Fencing Club is designed to teach basic fencing skills and to support the Varsity Fencing Team.

- FHA_HERO:FHA-HERO is a state student-run organization that provides members with leadership skills, builds character, and earns scholarships through local, county, and state wide competitions.

- French Club:Ran By Christine Serio (French I, II, III, and IV teacher)French Club provides students with opportunities to pursue their interest in the French language and culture through theatre and restaurant visits and others.

- Ski, Snowboard & Travel Club:Ski, Snowboard and Travel Club is an organization that provides members the opportunity to travel to different places such as Mammoth and the River.

- Spanish Club:Spanish Club promotes the Hispanic culture and language. It provides cultural trip and service opportunities for all students.

- Work Experience Education Club:Work Experience Education Club is a student led organization which helps students locate and procure jobs which work towards long term goals.
