Victor Hugo Merino "El Pega" Dubon (born August 18, 1979 in El Salvador) is a Salvadoran football (soccer) player, who currently plays midfield for C.D. FAS and El Salvador.
He Started His Career Playing for the FC Jazz of Finland. He Returned to El Salvador to play for San Salvador F.C.. After two years and a championship with San Salvador F.C, Dubon moved to C.D. Luis Angel Firpo.
In June 2007, Dubon transferred yet again, this time to C.D. FAS. His first six months with the club brought him little success as he was sidelined as a result of an injury. Even so, his team still managed to reach the final. Where they played Dubon's former team C.D. Luis Angel Firpo. Ultimately C.D. FAS lost the game 5-3 on penalties after the game ended 1-1 at fulltime.
He has represented his national team on and off since 2004. More recently he was part of both the UNCAF Nations Cup 2007 and 2007 Gold Cup squads.
