Vickery Turner

Vickery Turner (born April 3, 1945 in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey - died April 4, 2006) was a British actress, writer and director. She started out on stage and her first breakthrough role was in the first production of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie opposite Vanessa Redgrave. She went on to act in many of the more famous British plays and movies of the 60's. In 1970 she met Warren Oates while filming and they married . They were divorced in 1974. She was also a successful playwright, director and novelist and her 5th novel was scheduled to be published around the time of her death.
