Vickers .50 machine gun
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Vickers .50 machine gun, also known as the 'Vickers .50' was basically the same as the .303 Vickers machine gun but scaled up to use a larger calibre round. It was introduced in 1932 as an anti-aircraft weapon and was used mostly by the Royal Navy as secondary armament on British warships.
