Vicious Kitten

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Vicious Kitten Fanzine was a self-published music publication from Canberra, Australia. It was the brainchild of brothers Colin and Denis Gray, who launched issue 1 in 1995. Its main focus was guitar-fuelled rock and roll and there were 9 issues produced, with the final issue printed in December 1998. It was available in all major Australian cities with a total print run of over 10,000 copies. Vicious Kitten conducted and printed interviews with musicians such as L7, Jeff Dahl, Freddy Lynxx, Nikki Sudden, ADZ The Dictators and Chris Masuak from Radio Birdman. Vicious Kitten Fanzine evolved into Vicious Kitten Records, and in 1999, the label issued its first release.
