Vicious Engine
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Vicious Engine is a complete and flexible game engine offering functionality for rendering, sound, networking, physics, game play scripting, and lighting. It is developed by Vicious Cycle Software. Versions of the Vicious Engine are available for Microsoft Windows, Sony PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox Live Arcade, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo Wii and PlayStation Portable (PSP).
Released in 2005, the Vicious Engine is currently a newcomer to the game engine arena. However, it has been noted that it is one of the first game engines offering complete support for the PSP and Wii platforms.
In February 2007, Vicious Engine announced a new program called "Rising Stars" to assist independent developers and start-ups in bringing their concepts to reality. Information about this program can be found on the company website.
