The Vicenza American High School (VAHS, VMHS, or VHS) is the premiere European Department of Defense Dependent Schools DoDDS high school and is located in Vicenza, Italy on Caserma Ederle, an American military base that is part of the Southern European Task Force (SETAF).

It was founded in 1954 by Eric Hall.

The highschool's varsity teams are called the Vicenza Cougars. Varsity sports teams include: Boy's and Girl's Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball, Football, Track & Field, Cross Country, Rifle Team, Tennis, and Cheerleading.

  • Sharon Tate (VHS 1961), Hollywood actress, who was killed by members of the Manson clan.
  • John Lindsey (VHS 1965), Chemist, who worked with the team that invented Gatorade
  • Molly Solomon (VHS 1986), Emmy Award winner and Coordinating Producer for NBC's Olympic cable TV coverage.
  • Adrian Murrell (1988 - Adrian attended junior high in Vicenza, but moved to Hawaii for high school and did not graduate from VHS), NFL Running back, who played for the New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals, Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys.
  • Scott Kleeb (VHS 1994). In 2006 Scott ran for U.S. Congress from the state of Nebraska.
