Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:101 1911.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 15:10, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Xiqing District

A tag has been placed on Xiqing District requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Speedy deletion of Pingshu

A tag has been placed on Pingshu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Rudget.talk 15:24, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pingshu

I can see the content being challenged in that article and may be in sight of deletion if you do not provide references/citations/reliable sources. If you're not too sure how to do this, here is an example:

<ref>{{cite web|url="quote/url of webpage goes here"|title="name/header of the page goes here"|accessdate="YEAR"-"#MONTH"-"#DAY"|publisher="person/host of the webpage goes here"}}</ref>

Leave that formatting immediately beside the information you obtained from elsewhere (if it is not a direct quote, you may need to re-word the passage so it doesn't reflect plagarism). If you're still in doubt, the next time you get information from a third-party, leave the passage on my talkpage with the source and I'll assist. --DlaeThe Freudian Slip 17:03, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
