Purpose of use

Fair use in Irish Republican related articles, in particular the Blanket protest article. Republican Prisoners through out the conflict considered themselves as prisoners of war (POW). Alternative titles such as Political Prisoners and Special Category prisoners were also used. As this Political Poster from the Hunger Strikes clearly shows.The image illustrates these views and opinions.
