The image is of Victoria Wanderers players (led by captain George Grech) picking up the Gozo Football League championship in the 1978-1979 season; this is the most prestigious award the club has won throughout their entire history, and to date it is the only time they have won the top league on the island of Gozo. It is a historically important image to the history of the club and cannot be re-created to give the same information as the event took place in 1979.
