Via Casilina

The Via Casilina was a road born from the fusion of two ancient Roman roads in Italy: the Via Latina and the Via Labicana. It connected Rome to ancient Casilinum (today Capua near Naples). It entered Rome via Porta Maggiore, the most monumental gate of the Aurelian walls.
